More return from your surplus
Precise automatic control uses surplus more accurately than manual or stepped control. Less energy goes unused, and unintended grid imports are avoided.
Over 20 HashLinks active in 2 countries
The HashLink Automation Controller manages surplus electricity automatically and precisely, increasing the return from your system.
Features
The HashLink Automation Controller brings generation, storage and loads under automatic control. It detects in real time how much surplus is really available, gives priority to self-consumption and adjusts miners and other flexible loads to exactly that surplus within seconds. It fits new and existing installations, works with all common miners and with inverters using Modbus TCP, and shows you output and energy flow on your PC, tablet or the optional touch monitor.
The HashLink Automation Controller detects in real time how much surplus is actually available on site, prioritises self-consumption and dynamically adjusts flexible loads to match that surplus precisely.
It comes as standard in every HASHLYNK system. For existing installations and mining setups, it is also available as a standalone device, with remote commissioning on request.
Example day based on real HashLink measurements: 6× Antminer S21+ and 1× Whatsminer M64, 30 kW of miners in total
The HashLink Automation Controller sits between generation and consumers and continually decides where electricity flows. After self-consumption, it automatically distributes the remaining surplus to productive use, storage and the grid, adjusting to weather, consumption and battery charge. Each component works in coordination with all the others.

Precise automatic control uses surplus more accurately than manual or stepped control. Less energy goes unused, and unintended grid imports are avoided.
Generation, battery storage, miners and other loads that currently operate separately or with fixed settings work together under coordinated control. This helps you get more from every component.
HashLink responds independently to every change on site. Everyday manual intervention is no longer needed.
Product features
The HashLink Automation Controller is a flexible control platform for sites with recurring surplus electricity and can be integrated into both new and existing installations.

HashLink follows actual generation and consumption and precisely adjusts the power of flexible loads to the surplus available at any given time.
In addition to automatic operation, schedules can specify when flexible loads run and at what power.
Batteries that are fully charged early can be deliberately discharged into productive use. This creates room for further charging cycles on the same day and improves the battery's economics.
Self-consumption always takes priority. Only the remaining surplus is distributed to productive use, storage or the grid in a defined order.
Keep track of power, energy flows and miner status at any time, from your PC, laptop or tablet, or directly on the optional touchscreen.
HashLink detects deviations and implausible readings early and ensures safe operation without unintended electricity imports from the grid.
Access
Keep track of power, energy flows and miner status at any time: right at the controller, on your own monitor or via remote access.

Remote
RustDesk
With RustDesk you access the HashLink controller directly from anywhere, from your PC, laptop or tablet.
Data from the installation and defined measurement points in the energy system is read continuously, using dedicated sensors or existing interfaces.
HashLink automatically detects implausible or incorrect values. It reports them or moves the system into a safe state.
Using the checked data, HashLink calculates the appropriate power for every connected load and continually adjusts it.
All operating data and control decisions are recorded, keeping operation and returns transparent, both live and retrospectively.

For anyone whose miners currently run at fixed power or are controlled manually and who wants to make the most of surplus electricity.

For operators of PV, hydropower or wind-power systems who want to introduce flexible loads, use generation peaks and improve their system's economics.

For sites with their own generation and battery storage that want self-consumption, storage and productive use to work together optimally.

For grid operators who want to absorb generation peaks locally and relieve grid constraints through controllable loads directly at the generation site.

For communities where multiple producers and consumers work together and surplus electricity needs to be distributed automatically and effectively.
For communities where multiple producers and consumers work together and surplus electricity needs to be distributed automatically and effectively.
HashLink license
The license tier depends on the number of miner slots unlocked for the HashLink Automation Controller. It is paid yearly in advance.
Up to 10 miners, the license is free. Beyond that, it typically amounts to only about 1–2 % of what your miners earn in a year.
| Tier | Miner slots | Controllers | Price per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| S0 Free | up to 10 | 1 | free |
| S1 Small | 11–25 | 1 | €468 |
| S2 Medium | 26–50 | 1 | €828 |
| S3 Large | 51–100 | 1 | €1,668 |
| S4 XL | 101–250 | 2–3 | €2,988 |
| S5 XXL | 251–500 | 3–5 | €5,508 |
| S∞ Enterprise | from 501 | from 5 | on request |
All prices incl. VAT. The license is paid yearly in advance.
HashLink is the control layer for sites with recurring surplus electricity. It detects available power in real time, prioritises self-consumption and automatically distributes the remaining surplus to loads such as miners or battery storage.
No. HashLink is already integrated into every HASHLYNK system. The standalone device is intended for sites that already have miners, battery storage or other loads.
Yes. HashLink is compatible with all common miners on the market and controls the power of each individually. We still briefly check your setup before confirming your order.
Alongside miners, HashLink communicates with battery storage and all inverters with a communication interface such as Modbus TCP, covering practically all models in use today. Clearly defined measurement points and on-site priorities are essential.
Power is adjusted to the available surplus within seconds. This allows flexible loads to follow rapid changes, such as passing clouds.
HashLink continually checks all readings for plausibility. If a measurement fails or produces implausible values, the system moves into a defined safe state in a controlled way, avoiding unintended grid imports.
HashLink costs €599 including VAT. With two hours of remote commissioning, it costs €749 including VAT.
On top of that comes the yearly license, which depends on the number of your miners: up to 10 miners it is free. You will find every tier and price in the pricing overview.
